Warning: prevents persistence but doesn't prevent setting

For example:

class Widget < ActiveRecord::Base
  attr_readonly :key
end
w = Widget.create! key: 'foo'
w.update! key: 'bar'
w.key #=> 'bar'
w.reload.key #=> 'foo'
